We'll be covering a LOT of ground in this workshop! We're doing a "documentation overview" so we'll be reviewing everything you need for your client files but not going super in-depth (because, obviously, we only have two hours!).
Here's what you'll learn at the workshop:
- What goes in a client record and WHY
- Common misconceptions and mistakes related to HIPAA
- Practical (and easy to implement) instruction on how to revise your forms so they make sense to you AND your clients
- What the heck "medical necessity" means and why it matters if you contract with insurance... or even if you just provide a super bill
- How to create goals that actually matter to your clients and identify how to follow up or revise goals throughout treatment
- Realistic strategies and templates for writing better (and more meaningful) notes
You'll also get an intake assessment template and a packet of six treatment plans that you can start using with clients right away!
You'll get to watch me use the templates live on the workshop and we'll review how you can personalize these to create more meaning with your documentation.
I'll also be writing notes in real time... it's going to be a blast!
We'll have plenty of time for Q&A. If you've attended any of my webinars you know I like interaction and answer questions throughout, so you won't be sitting there anxiously awaiting your opportunity. But we will be moving through our topics fairly quickly so I'll stick around at the end for anyone who wants to go a little more in-depth.

Everyone who registers will receive the replay the following day. That means you can watch it anytime you choose or watch it again months later when you have a question or need a refresher.
This program qualifies for 2 continuing education credits approved by NBCC.

Afraid of the technology? It's pretty easy. I use a software called AnyMeeting. You'll just click a link from my email directions, download the software (or app) and voila... attendance! If you've attended one of my webinars in the past, you're already set to go.
One note: AnyMeeting does not tend to work well with Safari so if you're using a Mac (like I do) then I recommend using Chrome.
