It's the ongoing support you need in a format that works.

Maintenance Mode is the next step in your journey to staying caught up, and not just on notes. We are tackling all aspects of your private practice documentation.

This group focuses on maintaining your practice and business policies, not just on catching up or completing tasks last minute. Anything that needs to be completed or reviewed annually will be addressed.

Maintenance Mode is a close-knit and supportive community, limited to 50 members. We require a brief application to make sure everyone is a good fit for the group.

Maintenance Mode creates steady progress.

Common Question:
Should I join the Catch Up Group again, or Maintenance Mode
?

You can join Maintenance Mode with confidence if you can answer YES to these:

  1. Are you mostly consistent with your home base?
  2. Have you joined the Catch Up Group more than once already because you need the accountability?
  3. Are you catching up, feeling confident writing notes, and starting to focus on other practice items like reviewing treatment plans, full client files, and updating policies
Other Common Questions:

What and when are the Intensive Co-Working Weekends?

These are two day "weekends" (Friday and Saturday) where we focus on completing a larger or more time-intensive task. These will be scheduled separately and in addition to monthly GND Days. We'll have a session the month prior to help you identify which task to work on during the intensive weekend.

The Spring 2026 weekend is Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 from 8am-3pm PST/ 11am-6pm EST.
This will be a virtual co-working intensive.

The Fall 2026 weekend will be scheduled for late September or early October.
This will be virtual with an in-person option available for an extra fee.

Why do you require an application?

Maintenance Mode is a small, supportive community of no more than 50 therapists. Maelisa will personally review all applications to make sure everyone is a great fit for the group.

Here's what we consider and prioritize in applications:

  • Committed to membership for the entire year
  • Previous membership in Maintenance Mode or the Catch Up Group
  • Previous involvement in any QA Prep programs or services
  • In a private practice setting
  • Seeking active involvement in a community of other therapists

Please note: We do not take location, level of experience, therapy modality, or personal identity into consideration. We do not discriminate based on gender, race, ethnicity, sexual identity, or religion and do not ask questions related to these topics.
