Do you have weeks (or even years) of notes to write?
- Feeling overwhelmed by the growing mountain of paperwork?
- Have no idea how to tackle it?
- Worried you'll be found out (or even reported)?
Guess what...
YOUÂ ARE NOT ALONE.
You would be surprised at how many other therapists are in the same situation... and so ashamed to discuss it.Â
That's why we created this community.
Introducing the
Stress-Free Notes Sprint
(formerly the Paperwork Catch Up Group)
This is a space where your fear and hesitation is met with COMPASSION.
This is a space where you can be honest about how far behind you are, without being judged.
Because everyone else in the group is behind, too!
How the Sprint Works
The Stress-Free Notes Sprint is a 4-week immersive program designed to give you the focused support, curriculum, and community you need to stop drowning in paperwork.
We’ve taken the best parts of our original Catch Up Group and refined them into a high-impact month that fits your life.
In the Sprint, you will:
-
Share your struggle without being judged.
-
Gain full access to the Stress-Free Documentation online course.
-
Choose a specific track so you don't get distracted.
-
Utilize weekly co-working sessions and a full-day "Get Notes Done" event.
Choosing Your Track
We know that "catching up" looks different for everyone. To ensure you get the most out of these 4 weeks, you’ll select one specific Track. This Track will set the theme for your Sprint and guide your work for the entire program.
By focusing on just one goal, you'll avoid the overwhelm of trying to fix everything at once.
Create a schedule that works for you now so you stop the roller coaster of catching up and falling behind. Perfect if you have so many notes, you don't even know where to start.
Catch up on notes from a specific timeframe. We’ll create a customized plan that makes sense for our 4 weeks together. You'll learn to prioritize the right clients and the right notes so you don’t waste time.Â
Create a plan that not only gets you caught up on treatment plans but creates a realistic system so you stay up to date moving forward.
What's Included?
When you join the Sprint, you get a blend of education, accountability, and community.
PLUS: Full Access to the course:
"Stress-Free Documentation"
Inside the course, you will find:
- Templates and Cheat Sheets: Stop staring at a blinking cursor. Use our checklist treatment plan templates and detailed progress note templates to speed up your writing immediately.
- Bite-Sized Video Lessons: The course is broken into 6 self-paced modules with focused videos (10-20 minutes each) so you can quickly get the information you need without watching hours of fluff.
- Real-World Examples: We provide two sample client files so you can see exactly what "good" documentation looks like in practice.
- Crucial Topics Covered: Master medical necessity, learn the art of diagnosis, and discover time management strategies specifically for therapists (even those with ADHD!).
- Quarterly Live Q&A Sessions: Get direct access to Maelisa to ask about your unique situation. Stop guessing and get your specific questions answered so you can move forward with confidence.
- Exclusive Bonuses: Get access to guest trainings on HIPAA, Collaborative Documentation, and a special AI Workshop to modernize your workflow.
I'm Dr. Maelisa McCaffrey,
a therapist who deeply understands the pressures and challenges of keeping up with paperwork, especially if you have ADHD. I've been there myself, and I know how overwhelming it can feel to fall behind.
In the Sprint, I offer a non-judgmental and supportive space for clinicians to finally get caught up. My approach is kind, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs.
The 4-Week Sprint Schedule
We spend 4 weeks together—short enough to maintain high focus, long enough to see massive results.
-
Week 1: Goals (Kick-off Call & Lesson)
-
Week 2: Schedule (Support Group & Lesson)
-
Week 3: Catch Up Plan (Support Group & Lesson)
-
Week 4: Implementation and Adjustment (Wrap-Up Party)
PLUS: The "Get Notes Done" (GND) Day Friday, March 20th | 9am - 4pm PST One full day dedicated to nothing but getting your work done. We use a Pomodoro-style schedule to maximize productivity. Maelisa is online the whole time to answer questions if you get stuck!
What people are saying about theÂ
Stress-Free Notes Sprint:
Maelisa was the most supportive and knowledgeable person to help me get on track!Â
Laura
I had no idea how many therapists are in the same boat when it comes to falling behind in notes, thinking 'it's only me', and feeling tremendous amounts of anxiety!
Philip
I really appreciated receiving feedback about my documentation and learning new ways to simplify the process.
Jenn
This program was what I didn't know I needed. I went from being overwhelmed with how behind I was with my notes to feeling empowered and able to create a system that has been working for me to stay current on my notes. I no longer "hate" writing notes and have been able to create a more neutral relationship that was negative for many years.
Joanna
My shame of being behind on documentation almost stopped me from joining the group. I'm grateful it didn't. Maelisa is truly a warm, kind stalwart tirelessly reminding us that we are ethical therapists who care enough to get help and that there are shockingly easier and faster ways to write notes and other documentation.

Common Question:
I'm embarrassed to join the group. How private is it?
This is one of the most common concerns for new group members!
So please know that you are not alone.
You are encouraged to share as much or as little as you’d like throughout the group. Some members have even signed up under an alias. However, their concerns have been removed 100% of the time in our group meetings!
Every member tends to start out feeling like their situation is unique or that no other therapist could possibly be as behind in notes as they are. However, the healing part of this group is just that! You are dealing with exactly the same fears, shame, and practical concerns as everyone else.
This is a group where you can truly say, “These are my people, and they get me!” (without feeling fear of being judged!)

Other common questions:
Â
Why did you change from a Catch Up Group to a Sprint?
While the original 14-week Catch Up Group was amazing, most people found it hard to sustain that level of focus for over three months. By condensing this into a 4-week Sprint, we can harness higher energy and focus.
Also, many members had technical questions (like "What goes in a note?"). By including the full Stress-Free Documentation course in the Sprint, you now get the best educational content paired with the community support!
Â
Will I really be able to get all my paperwork done in 4 weeks?
That depends on how far behind you are and which Track you choose. The goal isn't always to finish everything in one month, but to make massive progress and build a system that works.
- Track 1 focuses on your schedule.
- Tracks 2 & 3 focus on chipping away at the backlog. Many members use the Sprint to establish a rhythm, then join future Sprints at the alumni rate to finish the job!
Â
How much time should I plan to spend?
Plan for at least 30 minutes per week reviewing the curated lesson and 90 minutes for our support meetings (Thursdays). Plus the one full GND Day (Friday, March 20). Beyond that, the more time you can dedicate to the actual writing during these 4 weeks, the more progress you’ll see.
Â
When are the group calls?
Thursdays at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern. If you can't make a co-working session, don't worry—everything else you’re able to do on your own time. Access to the community is 24/7 during the Sprint.
